Hi
I am a researcher working on a project to analyse crime decriptions in police databases and look for similarities. I am hoping to use WordNet and my prefered language is Java. I have found many Java interfaces to WordNet, but all of them have some difficulties. Some don't even seem to work when I try them (perhaps because they are for older versions of WordNet?). Much of the documentation is very low level and does not answer the question "What does this thing do?" I am coming to the conclusion that the thing about free software is that you get exactly what you pay for. Does anyone have any advice? Has anyone managed to integrate WordNet into a Java application without too much grief? |

richard - because the database files itself are available in raw format, mush has not been asked for regarding code that connects to the database & retrieves the data. Developers are writing their own code to access the database and process.
Plain text file : WordNet 3
MySQL : SourceForge _________________ Anjanesh Lekshminarayanan |
